Gujarat court to hear charges against Asaram today

Gandhinagar: A court here on Friday will begin hearing charges against self-styled godman Asaram Bapu, who is an accused in a rape case.

The Gujarat police yesterday filed the chargesheet against Asaram in connection with the case, on the complaint filed by a Surat-based woman.

Asaram already has a chargesheet filed against him in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, in another rape case.

The present chargesheet, filed in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate JB Parikh here, is against Asaram, his wife Lakshmi, daughter Bharti and his four women followers -- Dhruvben, Nirmala, Jassi and Meera.

All of them are charged under sections 376 (rape), 342 (illegal confinement) and 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code. 

The magistrate would hear their applications seeking copies of the chargesheet on January 13.

Two Surat-based women, sisters, have accused Asaram and his son Narayan Sai of sexual exploitation. The accusations followed Asaram's arrest in Jodhpur case.

The elder sister has levelled allegations against Asaram, and the younger sister against his son. In Asaram's case, the complainant had accused him of sexual assaults between 1997 and 2006, when she was living in his ashram on the outskirts of Ahmedabad.

Asaram is presently lodged in a judicial custody in Jodhpur.

No respite for Bapu: Fresh charges against Asaram; controversial godman booked for rape & criminal conspiracy

Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar: In a significant development, controversial godman Asaram has been booked under rape, intimidation and wrongful confinement on Thursday. 

 

Gujarat police have filed a chargesheet against the 72-year-old and five others. 

 

In a charge-sheet filed against him in a Gandhinagar court, the spiritual guru has also been accused of illegal confinement and criminal conspiracy. Five others, including his wife and daughter, have also been booked by the police.

 

Earlier, two sisters from Surat in Gujarat had filed a rape case against the jailed godman and his son Narayan Sai. They said the incidents took place between 2002 and 2004.

 

The girl from Chandkheda area in Ahmedabad came to Surat along with Ahmedabad police and registered her statements with Jehangipura police station. Earlier, she was a devotee of Asaram and staying at Jehangirpura ashram in Surat for a few years.

 

The accused has been lodged at central jail in Jodhpur for few months for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor at his ashram in Rajasthan.

Arguments on charges against Asaram to begin in court on Friday

The prosecution will commence arguments on the charges from Friday in the District and Sessions court here, as the defence sought more time to decide its arguments on the charges.
Judge Manoj Kumar Vyas court ordered the beginning of arguments from Friday after the prosecution moved an application under section 211 of the CrPC, pleading the court to read out the charges on the accused without arguments.
"There have been 16 hearings in the court after the court took cognisance of the charge sheet, but the defence has been constantly evading the arguments on charges on one ground or the other," Public Prosecutor RL Meena said.
He said, "When we appeared in court today, the defence sought time until the revision petition filed by prosecution in High Court against an order of the lower court to provide the defence with the recording of the statements of the victim and spot of incident was decided. When court asked us, we expressed our intention to begin the charge arguments with immediate effect," Meena said.
Upon this, the court allowed the prosecution to begin the charge arguments from Friday.
"Now, we will begin the charge arguments from tomorrow, which has already been delayed by two months despite the High Court ordering the hearing to be undertaken on a day-to-day basis," he said.
72-year-old Asaram Bapu is lodged in jail since August last year. He was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a teenage girl at his ashram here.
Later, two Surat-based sisters who stayed at his ashram in Gujarat accused him and his son, Narayan Sai, of rape.

Sexual assault case: Chargesheet filed against Asaram Bapu

 Gandhinagar: A chargesheet was filed on Thursday against self-styled godman Asaram Bapu. He has been booked for allegedly raping a Surat-based girl who was staying at his Ahmedabad ashram. The chargesheet was filed in a Gandhinagar court. He has also been accused of illegal confinement and criminal conspiracy. Along with the self-styled godman, five others, including his his wife and daughter have also been booked by the police. 

He has been in a Rajasthan jail since August last year. This is the second case of sexual assault against Asaram bapu. He was accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl in his Jodhpur Ashram and was arrested for the same from Indore on September 01 last year. The 16-year old girl lodged a police compliant against him on August 20.

Later, two Surat-based sisters accused him and his son, Narayan Sai, of raping them. Narayan Sai was also arrested in the case and is in Surat jail at present. The younger sister has registered a complaint against him, while the elder sister accused Asaram of sexual assault.

Subsequently the police registered two complaints, one against Asaram and the other against his son. It was reportedly said that both the sisters hailed from a poor family and used to assist in making ayurvedic medicines at the ashram. It was also alleged that Asaram's wife, Lakshmi, and his daughter, Bharti helped them in committing the acts.

The complaint against Narayan Sai was registered at Jhangirpura police station in Surat. The one against Asaram was transferred to Ahmedabad as the alleged incident happened there.

Asaram, 72, and Narayan Sai have steadfastly refuted the allegations and have called the whole thing as a conspiracy against them.

Asaram Bapu: the most controversial godman of the year

New Delhi: The micro-blogging site Twitter was recently flooded with tweets by Asaram followers demanding his release and justifying it by giving example of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and actor Sanjay Dutt who were released on bail.
But this isn’t the first time in the year that Asaram attracted the glare of media. The controversial self-styled godman Asaram Bapu has remained in the headlines for almost the entire second half of the year.

The rape allegations on Asaram first landed him into trouble and eventually into jail. The image of a peacekeeper godman which Asaram had created through his discourses was all washed away with wink of an eye.
Once the minor accused Asaram of sexual abuse, troubles and more accusations followed. He was a termed a sex addict, he was accused of land grabbing and his family members were also booked under various charges. Eventually, the 72-year old godman was sent into police custody in Jodhpur.

But this is not the first time that controversies have clouded Asaram. Earlier, in 2008 two brothers Abhishek and Dipesh Vaghela were found dead in Asaram’s Motera in Gujarat. A chargesheet was filed against Asaram in connection with the case. In 2012, a chargesheet was filed by the Gujarat Criminal Investigation Department against 7 people from Asaram’s ashram in relation with death of the 2 boys under mysterious circumstances.
In 2009, Raju Chandak, who was a trustee in Asaram’s ashram, filed a police complaint accusing Asaram and 2 others making an attempt to kill him.

In the next year, Asaram landed into encroachment troubles. The Gujarat government claimed 67,099 square meters of land on which Asaram’s ashram had been built.

Apart from these controversies, what gave birth to fury in the masses against Asaram was his controversial statement which he gave after the sensational `Delhi gang rape’. According to Asaram, the victim was equally responsible for what had taken place with her. He suggested that she should have begged and called them `brother’ in order to save herself.

Waiting for a  bail from inside Jodhpur jail, Asaram has become the most controversial godman of the year.

Surat police to question Asaram Bapu in bribe case

Surat police plans to question Asaram Bapu whom it suspects, had a role in the conspiracy to bribe police and other institutions to weaken the case against his son Narayan Sai who is in custody for alleged sexual assault.
The police had stumbled upon a bribery racket of Rs 13 crore of which it recovered Rs eight crore and arrested sub inspector CM Kumbhani of Surat crime branch, a builder and mall owner Ketan Patel, Uday Sanghani, a close associate of Sai and Dhiraj Patel, a car driver Thursday night.
Sources in the police department claimed that Sai while in Surat police crime branch custody custody during his remand period became very friendly with sub inspector Kumbhani. Under Sai's direction, Kumbhani met Uday Sanghani outside the police station and assured him that he is with Sai and can do favours for him, if he is paid well.
Uday apparently was not convinced and told Kumbhani that he would arrange for the money after talking to Sai.
Kumbhani smuggled Sanghani inside Sai's lock up on Monday morning and put up a tough police cordon outside the crime branch, not allowing anybody inside. Sanghani and Sai met about the monetary deal to crack up the judiciary, police, jail authorities and doctors of New Civil hospital. It was decided to split Rs 13 crore among them, after a telephonic discussion
with Asaram Bapu.
Sanghani then arranged for the money with the help of Sai's associates.
A complaint in this connection was lodged with crime branch police station by Assistant Commissioner of police J K Jhala. However Sai who is also accused in the conspiracy of cash deal would be re-arrested later in this case, as at present he is Surat police remand for sexual assault case, registered with Jehangirpura police station.
 The arrested ones during interrogation, confessed that the money was meant to provide facilities to Narayan Sai, weaken the case, influence judiciary, government doctors and jail authorities.
Surat police commissioner Rakesh Asthaana said, "We have started investigations in the bribe case and we will question many people, who directly involved in this matter. Narayan Sai is also accused in this bribe case and he would arrested soon, after his remand period ends."

Tainted godman, Asaram, appeals for a guard; complaints against being made to sit with other undertrial prisoners

Jodhpur: The septuagenarian godman, Asaram Bapu, who is in currently in judicial custody and is being tried for the sexual assault of a minor in his Chhindwara ashram complained to the Court about the difficulties faced by him when the police bring him from the jail to the court.

Asaram was heard saying that he is being brought along with other undertrial prisoners at around 11 in the morning and made to sit in the barracks near the court even though the hearing starts at around two in the afternoon. He added that he would be paralyzed due to the cold and the barrack has an inbuilt toilet too. Asaram complained that the stench coming from the toilet can have a negative effect on his health. Asaram expressed his fears of being killed while he is being brought along with other undertrial prisoners explaining that his opposition can get him killed taking advantage of this fact. He requested the court for separate security and guard to be deployed for him.

Jodhpur: The cold wave has sent shivers down the spines of self-styled godman Asaram Bapu, lodged inside Jodhpur central jail since the first week of September.
On Monday, the godman in his application before the Jodhpur judge said, he is shivering with cold inside the court barracks too, where he is dumped with other prisoners on the dates of hearing.  Asaram has requested some arrangements to keep the prisoners warm inside the court barracks

"I am brought like a common prisoner with others in the jail bus and dumped inside the court barracks at 11 am, whereas the hearing takes place at 2 pm.  The barracks in which I am kept are open. I will be crippled in this bitter cold.  There is a toilet inside the barrack, and its stink may affect my health.
"I fear my rivals may take advantage of my helplessness seeing how the jail administration is sending me in the jail bus packed with other prisoners. They can kill me.

"I request that I may be provided a separate guard and security so that others may not be able to harm me physically", wrote Asaram Bapu. 

Devotees of Asaram flocked to the court premises to have a 'darshan' of the godman charged with sexually assaulting a minor girl on the night of August 15 inside his cottage in Jodhpur.

Some of the devotees openly wept, while others kissed the ground on which the godman walked.

On the other hand, the prosecutor has charged the defence lawyer of deliberately trying to drag the process of law.

Rajulal Meena, the special public prosecutor, in his petition before the sessions judge Manoj Kumar Vyas pointed out that after the court took cognisance of the crime, Asaram and other accused were produced before the court 16 times, but the arguments on charges are yet to begin, because  the defence lawyer has been bringing in extraneous issues. 

The judge then allowed exemption from producing Asaram, and other accused warden Shilpi, director Sharad chandra, sevadar Shiva and cook Prakash before the court. He ordered all of them be produced before the court on Jan 9 only.

अहमदाबाद: नाबालिग छात्रा के यौन शोषण के आरोप में जोधपुर की सैंट्रल जेल में बंद आसाराम के एक समय सबसे खास और 1989 से 2005 तक आसाराम के आश्रम में मुख्य वैद्यराज के पद पर रहे वैद्य अमृत प्रजापति ने चौंकाने वाला खुलासा किया है।

 प्रजापति ने बताया कि आसाराम बहुत पहले से ही सैक्स पॉवर बढ़ाने वाली दवाइयों का सेवन करते आ रहे हैं। प्रजापति ने यह भी बताया कि उन्होंने अपनी आंखों से अनेक बार आसाराम को अलग-अलग शिष्याओं के साथ निर्वस्त्र अवस्था में देखा है।  प्रजापति के अनुसार आसाराम अपनी ध्यान कुटिया में ही रंगरलियां मनाया करते थे। यहां किसी भी व्यक्ति को प्रवेश की अनुमति नहीं होती थी। महत्व की बात तो यह है कि अभी जोधपुर पुलिस आसाराम की शिष्या शिल्पी की तलाश में है जो अब तक पुलिस की गिरफ्त से बाहर है। ऐसी भी चर्चा है कि शिल्पी अहमदाबाद में ही कहीं छिपी हुई है।

इस मामले में प्रजापति का कहना है कि अहमदाबाद आश्रम में ऐसी एक नहीं, बल्कि कम से कम 25 ‘शिल्पी’ हैं जो आसाराम के लिए लड़कियों का इंतजाम करती हैं।

प्रजापति ने यह भी बताया कि आसाराम सैक्स वर्धक दवाइयांकई सालों से लेते आ रहे हैं। रतलाम से 17 किलोमीटर दूर आसाराम का पंचेड आश्रम है। वहां अफ ीम की खेती होती है। वहां से नियमित तौर पर आसाराम के लिए अफ ीम मंगाई जाती थी। आसाराम उसे पंचेड बूटी कहते थे। उसका नियमित सेवन करते थे। स्टेज पर जब आसाराम का सत्संग चलता था तभी आसाराम उस महिला या लड़की  पर रोशनी चमकाते थे जिसे वे पसंद कर लेते थे। आसाराम की महिला साधक उनका इशारा समझ जाती थीं और महिला को किसी तरह अपनी बातों में फं साकर उसे आसाराम की ध्यान कुटिया में भेजती थीं। इसलिए आसाराम को सैक्स वर्धक दवाइयों का सहारा लेना पड़ता था।

प्रजापति आगे कहते हैं कि किसी भी महिला से एकांत में मिलने के लिए बुलाने के साथ ही आसाराम शक्तिवर्धक दवाइयां भी मंगवाया करते थे। दवाइयों को दूध में मिलाकर महिला को पिलाया जाता था।  इस बात की पुष्टि आसाराम पर आरोप लगाने वाली लड़की के बयान से भी होती है। उसने पुलिस रिपोर्ट में कहा है कि ज्यादती से पहले उसे भी एक गिलास दूध पीने को दिया गया था।

आसाराम और उनके बेटे पर मध्य प्रदेश के रतलाम में 700 करोड़ रुपए की जमीन हड़पने का संगीन आरोप लगा है। आरोप है कि साल 2001 में रतलाम की एक फैक्ट्री की जमीन आसाराम ने सतसंग के लिए किराए पर ली थी, जिसपर उन्होंने कब्जा जमा लिया। नारायण साईं की वेबसाईट में मंदिर के पास की जमीन आसाराम अपनी बता रहे हैं। पूरे 200 एकड़ जमीन कब्जा करने का आरोप आसाराम पर लग रहा है। आरोप है कि मध्य प्रदेश के रतलाम की 200 एकड़ जमीन पर आसाराम और उनके बेटे नारायण ने साल 2001 से कब्जा कर रखा है। कभी इस जगह जयंत विटामिन लिमिटेड यानि जेवीएल नाम की कंपनी चला करती थी जो कि 1997 में बंद हो गई। उस वक्त कंपनी की कीमत थी करीब 1200 करोड़ रूपये।

MP: New BJP MLA performs ‘Asaram puja’

After the BJP distanced itself from the Asaram episode for four months, a party legislator could not resist showing her reverence for the jailed self-styled godman.

The newly-elected BJP MLA from assembly constituency number 3, Usha Thakur, not only attended a bhajan programme organised by his supporters on New Year’s Eve at Indore Narsingh Vatika, but also performed an aarti of Asaram’s portrait kept on the dais. This has created ripples not only in the party, but in political circles as well.

"She should not have done this particularly after party high command had issued a clear cut directive on this issue," said a BJP leader from Indore.

Asaram, who was arrested from his Indore’s ashram on August 31 last year, is currently in a Jodhpur jail following complaints of sexual harassment. A girl had lodged a complaint at a police station in Delhi on August 20, accusing the 72-year-old of sexually assaulting her at his ashram in Jodhpur. Thakur denied having performed the aarti of Asaram.
"I know the allegations against Asaram. Those who have organised the event are my supporters. I got the invitation for bhajan sandhya and attend the programme every year," she said, adding that she performed the aarti of Ram Darbar. However, the MLA admitted that a photograph of Asaram was put on the dais.
Incidentally, this is not the first time when BJP leaders have either issued statements or participated in functions of Asaram. Senior BJP leaders — Uma Bharti, minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Rajya Sabha MP Prabhat Jha — had defended the jailed ‘godman’ prior to his arrest.

आसाराम पर कानूनी शिकंजा और सख्त हो सकता है। आसाराम के रसोइये ने यह खुलासा किया है कि आसाराम की नीयत महिलाओं को लेकर खराब रहती थी और उन्होंने पीड़िता को अपने जाल में फांसने की कोशिश की थी।
यौन शोषण के मामले में पहले से ही जेल में बंद आसाराम की मुश्किलें उनके चेले और बढ़ा रहे हैं। आसाराम के रसोइये प्रकाश ने पुलिसिया पूछताछ में कई सनसनीखेज खुलासे किए हैं।  प्रकाश की माने तो आसाराम महिलाओं को लेकर खराब नीयत रखा करते थे और उन्हें गलत तरीके से छूते थे। प्रकाश ने यह भी खुलासा किया है कि आसाराम ने पीड़िता को अपने जाल में फांसने की कोशिश की थी और उसे यूपी, एमपी, गुजरात और छत्तीसगढ़ के आश्रमों में भी बुलाया था।
कुल मिलाकर ताजा खुलासे के बाद आसाराम पर कानून का शिकंजा और सख्त हो सकता है। अभी तक जिसे खुद आसाराम साजिश करार देने में लगे थे।  उसपर उनके रसोइये का ताजा खुलासा ऐसे मौके पर सवालिया निशान लगा रहे हैं। बहरहाल सच्चाई जांच के बाद ही सामने आ पाएगी। जिसके लिए फिलहाल सभी को थोड़ा और इंतजार करना होगा।

Surat police plans to question Asaram Bapu whom it suspects, had a role in the conspiracy to bribe police and other institutions to weaken the case against his son Narayan Sai who is in custody for alleged sexual assault.
The police had stumbled upon a bribery racket of Rs 13 crore of which it recovered Rs eight crore and arrested sub inspector CM Kumbhani of Surat crime branch, a builder and mall owner Ketan Patel, Uday Sanghani, a close associate of Sai and Dhiraj Patel, a car driver Thursday night.
Sources in the police department claimed that Sai while in Surat police crime branch custody custody during his remand period became very friendly with sub inspector Kumbhani. Under Sai's direction, Kumbhani met Uday Sanghani outside the police station and assured him that he is with Sai and can do favours for him, if he is paid well.
Uday apparently was not convinced and told Kumbhani that he would arrange for the money after talking to Sai.
Kumbhani smuggled Sanghani inside Sai's lock up on Monday morning and put up a tough police cordon outside the crime branch, not allowing anybody inside. Sanghani and Sai met about the monetary deal to crack up the judiciary, police, jail authorities and doctors of New Civil hospital. It was decided to split Rs 13 crore among them, after a telephonic discussion
with Asaram Bapu.
Sanghani then arranged for the money with the help of Sai's associates.
A complaint in this connection was lodged with crime branch police station by Assistant Commissioner of police J K Jhala. However Sai who is also accused in the conspiracy of cash deal would be re-arrested later in this case, as at present he is Surat police remand for sexual assault case, registered with Jehangirpura police station.
The arrested ones during interrogation, confessed that the money was meant to provide facilities to Narayan Sai, weaken the case, influence judiciary, government doctors and jail authorities.

Surat police commissioner Rakesh Asthaana said, "We have started investigations in the bribe case and we will question many people, who directly involved in this matter. Narayan Sai is also accused in this bribe case and he would arrested soon, after his remand period ends."

Bribe conspiracy: Narayan Sai subjected to voice spectrography test

          AHMEDABAD: Self-styled godman Asaram Bapu's son Narayan Sai was on Monday subjected to a voice-matching test in connection with a case in which he is accused of hatching a plan to bribe cops and judicial officers so as to weaken the rape case lodged against him by a Surat-based woman. The test was conducted at the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Gandhinagar.
"Narayan Sai was taken to the FSL where he willingly underwent voice spectrography test," said DCP (Crime), Surat, Shobha Bhutada.
The spectrographic voice identification test entails recording of sample voice of the concerned person (accused) and matching it with the voice which is already recorded or taped. The wavelengths and frequency of both the voices are studied thoroughly and analysed.

"The results of the voice spectrography test would prove to be a vital evidence in this (bribe conspiracy) case. Additionally, they will help to establish with whom Sai was in touch with while he was absconding (in connection with the rape case)," police said.
Sai, accused of repeatedly raping a young woman inmate of Surat ashram between 2002 and 2005, is in police remand till January 1 for allegedly hatching a conspiracy to offer bribe to policemen and even judicial officers to make the case less stringent. Six persons, including a police sub-inspector, were arrested earlier this month, in this connection.
Sai, who was evading arrest for nearly two months, was apprehended from Delhi-Haryana border on December 4.
Two sisters from Surat had lodged separate complaints against Sai and Asaram, accusing them of rape and illegal confinement, among other charges.
Sai was booked under various IPC sections of rape, unnatural sex, molestation, wrongful confinement, unlawful assembly, rioting and criminal intimidation on the complaint of the younger sister.
Asaram (72) is currently lodged in a Rajasthan jail in connection with alleged sexual assault of a minor girl at his ashram in Jodhpur.

Surat:  Narayan Sai, the 41-year-old son of spiritual leader Asaram Bapu, has allegedly confessed to raping a woman who lived at his father's ashram or retreat in Surat.

"He had further admitted that he had a physical relationship with eight other women followers in different parts of the country. We are trying to trace them so that corroborative evidences are gathered against the accused," said Rakesh Asthana, the Surat Police Commissioner.

These alleged confessions, made during interrogation, cannot be used as evidence against Narayan Sai, whose lawyer was not available for comment.

The police say Narayan Sai has admitted to fathering a son with a woman follower; both mother and baby are reportedly missing.

After two months of dodging arrest, Narayan Sai was found a week ago from near the Delhi-Haryana border, disguised as a Sikh. He has been in prison in Surat since then.

Two sisters have accused his father and him of raping them at separate ashrams in Gujarat between 1997 and 2006.

The younger sister says Narayan Sai raped her repeatedly between 2002 and 2005. Her older sister says Asaram Bapu raped her between 1997 and 2006 while she was living at his ashram on the outskirts of Ahmedabad.

Asaram Bapu has been in a Rajasthan jail since September after a school girl accused him of sexual assault at an ashram in Jodhpur.

The sisters who subsequently filed rape cases against the 72-year-old religious preacher and his son said they were inspired by the 16-year-old's courage in speaking out.

नई दिल्‍ली। नाबालिग से बलात्‍कार के मामले में जेल में बंद आसाराम बापू का बेटा नारायण साईं अपने आश्रम में लड़कियों की ब्‍लू फिल्‍म बनवाता था। जी हैं आप सही पढ़ रहें हैं| नारायण के कुकृतियों की इस खबर का खुलासा सूरत के सेशन कोर्ट की फास्‍ट ट्रैक अदालत के एक फैसले में हुआ है।

दरअसल, इस बात का जिक्र अदालत ने नारायण के साधक हनुमान उर्फ कौशल ठाकुर की अग्रिम जमानत याचिका के फैसले में किया है। अदालत में पीडि़त पक्ष की तरफ से सरकारी वकील ने नारायण साईं के साथ कई वर्षों तक रहने वाले दो गवाहों की गवाही के आधार पर अपनी दलील में कहा कि हनुमान और मोनिका अग्रवाल नारायण साई के लिए लड़कियों का इंतजाम करते थे।

चश्मदीदों के मुताबिक, ये बात सामने आई है कि नारायण साईं जब कभी सत्‍संग करने जाता था और रात में कहीं रुकता था तो मोनिका और हनुमान पहले से आश्रम की लड़कियों का ब्रेन वॉश करते थे और फिर नारायण साईं के पास पहुंचा देते थे। सबसे अहम खुलासा ये हुआ है कि नारायण साईं जब लड़कियों के साथ छेड़खानी या अश्‍लील हरकत करता था उस वक्‍त हनुमान उसकी ब्‍लू फिल्‍म बनाता था।

सूरत के सरकारी वकील, नयन सुखडवाला ने कहा, 'सूरत की अतिरिक्‍त सेशन कोर्ट में सुनवाई हुई। सुनवाई के बाद कोर्ट ने हनुमान की अग्रिम जमानत याचिका को रद्द कर दिया है। सुनवाई के दौरान जांच और गवाहों के बयानों को कोर्ट के समक्ष पेश किया गया। इसमें दो गवाहों का बयान भी कोर्ट को दिया है।

                                                     आप सभी लोग जानते हैं कि आसाराम को दशिणा मे शाल,कबंल,लोई, सूखा मेवा आदि बहुत बडी संखया मे मिलता है लेकिन आसाराम उस सामान का कया करता है……………..?
                                                     आसाराम के लगभग सभी आशरमों मे दीवाली के दिन दुकान लगाई जाती है और उन दुकानो पर आपके (भगतों के) दिए गए शाल , कबंल आदि को बेचा जाता है। जब मै वंहा पर था तब तो ये धंधा होता था , आज कयोंकि ये मैने बलाग लिख दिया है इसलिए इसबार पता नहीं दुकान खुलेगी या नही ?
                                                     लोग शरधा से नारियल दे जाते हैं और आसाराम उनकी मिठाई बनाकर बेचता है। एक तरफ तो आसाराम मिठाई न खाने की सलाह देता और दुसरी तरफ उसके ही आशरम मे मिठाई बेचता है।
                          लोग शरधा से सामान दे जाते हैं और आसाराम उस सामान से लाखों रुपये कमाता है। आशरम के लडको को मिठाई नही दी जाती । शरदी मे कितने लडकों के पास सवेटर और जरसी होती है ये भी आप जाकर सरवे कर सकते हैं………….?
                                                    आसाराम के पास  सवेटर और जरसी की कोई गिनती नही है लेकिन लडकों को एक सवेटर भी बडी मुशकिल से नसीब होता है। शरदी के कारण पैर फट जाते हैं लेकिन जूते नही मिलते। यदि किसी को जूता डालना है तो उसके खुद के घर से ही मंगवाना पडता है।
                           आसाराम लडकों से मजदूरी करवाता है, उनके जरिए पैसा कमाता है और ऐश करता है , मौज मनाता है एवं दुनिया के सामने संत बनने का नाटक करता है।
                           जैसे जरासंध की जेल बहुत से राजा कैद थे उसी तरह आसाराम के आशरम मे भी बहुत से लडके और लडकियां आंधी विशवास के कारण फंसे हुए हैं।
                           तो आइए हम सब भगवान की वंदना करें ताकि सभी लडके एवं लडकिया आसाराम की मानसिक जेल से बाहर निकले एंव उनके – उनके घर जाएं ताकि उनके माता भी दिवाली मना सकें।

Surat:
Following a High Court order, district officials have taken possession of 34,400 sq metres of land at Jehangirpura in Surat on which the ashram run by spiritual leader Asharam Bapu had built a temple and a gaushala (cowshed) and had been depositing a monthly installment of Rs 70,000 at the district collector office for the past two years.
Sources said district officials and the police went into the ashram at Jehangirpura and asked told the ashram people to vacate the land, which they did without any resistance.
The team then got the debris removed and took possession of the land.
The irrigation department had acquired agricultural land on the banks of Tapi River to make a protection wall. However, 34,400 square metres of land was left unused following which the department started the process of returning the excess land to farmers who first owned it.
The ashram on its neighboring side, meanwhile, started encroaching the land and built a temple and a gaushala on it.
Anil Vyas, a farmer, filed a petition before the Gujarat High Court, which directed the district collector to take possession of the land. Asharam Bapu, who wanted some time to challenge the order, was asked to pay Rs 70,000 a month at the district collector’s office for the interim period.
Choryasi Prant mamlatdar Deepak Shukla said, “We have taken possession of the land. The ashram people also cooperated with us.”

बेटी भारती की जिंदगी को नर्क बनाने वाले बापू हैं आसाराम!

बैंगलोर। पहले जोधपुर में नाबालिग लड़की के यौन शोषण का केस और अब सूरत में रेप के आरोपी बने आसाराम बापू की मुश्किलें बढ़ती ही जा रही हैं। जहां दोनों बार हुए पोटेंसी टेस्ट में वह पॉजिटिव पाये गये हैं वहीं उनके बेटे नारायाण साईं और बेटी भारती भी उनके जुर्म के लपेटे में हैं, जिसमें नारायण साईं तो फरार हैं लेकिन बेटी भारती टीवी चैनलों के कार्यक्रम में अपनी सफाई पेश करती नजर आ रही हैं। योग माता और अलग तरह के प्रवचन देने में माहिर योग साधिका बनीं भारती ने एबीपी के सनसनी कार्यक्रम में साफ किया कि जिस तरह से वाहियात आरोप उस पर और उसकी मां पर लगाये गये हैं वह बिल्कुल बेबुनियाद औऱ निंदनिय है। ना तो कोई पत्नी और ना ही कोई बेटी इस तरह का काम कर सकती है। हालांकि भारती की बातों से साफ जाहिर हो रहा था कि वह बार-बार अपनी सफाई दे रही हैं लेकिन एक बार भी उनके मुंह से यह नहीं निकला कि उनके पिता आसाराम बापू और भाई नारायण साईं गलत हैं या उनपर लगे सारे आरोप बेबुनियाद है। मालूम हो कि आसाराम की पत्नी और बेटी पर भी आरोप लगे हैं कि वे बाप-बेटे (आसाराम और नारायण) तक लड़कियां भेजवाने में मदद करती थीं। भारती बार-बार यही चिल्ला रही थीं कि उन्हें न्यायपालिका पर पूरा भरोसा है और उन्हें लगता है कि उनके साथ न्याय होगा। भारती ने साफ-साफ बोला कि वह औऱ उनके पिता आसाराम बापू में पिछले पांच सालों से कोई तालमेल नहीं है और ना ही वह दोनों एक साथ एक घर में रहते हैं। भारती की अपनी एक दुनिया है जिसमें वह योग साधिका कहलाती है। जो जानकारी हासिल हुई है उसके मुताबिक योग साधिका भारती का जन्म 5 दिसंबर 1975 को हुआ था और उन्होंने एमकॉम की पढ़ाई की है। भारती ने 1997 में डॉक्टर हेमंत से शादी की थी। लेकिन यह शादी आसाराम बापू की वजह से टूट गयी और भारती से हेमंत ने तलाक ले लिया। हेमंत ने तलाक के बाद केवल भारती को ही नहीं छोड़ा बल्कि देश भी छोड़ दिया। भारती, वापस आसाराम बापू के घर आ गयीं और उनके महिला आश्रम में सक्रिय हो गयीं लेकिन भारती की अपने पिता आसाराम से बनी नहीं क्योंकि जिस महिला आश्रम की देखरेख भारती करती थीं वहां उनके पिता आसाराम उनसे ज्यादा तवज्जो एक शिष्या को देते थे। शिष्या को ही आसाराम ने आश्रम की अधिकारिक जिम्मेदारी दे रखी थी, जो भारती को नागवार गुजरी और वह अलग होकर अपना ही आश्रम चलाने लगी हैं। कहा जाता है कि मनमोहन प्रवचन की वजह से ही आज भारती के लाखों की संख्या में समर्थक हैं। फिलहाल जो कहानी सामने आ रही है उसके मुताबिक तो भारती, महिला समर्थकों में लड़कियों में चुनकर उन्हें पवित्र करवाने के बहाने से पिता आसाराम बापू और भाई नारायण साईं के पास ले जाया करती थीं। अब क्या सच है और क्या झूठ इस बारे में फैसला अदालत करेगी लेकिन इतना तो तय है कि आसाराम बापू और उनसे जुड़े सभी लोग गहरे संदेह के घेरे में है।

        अहमदाबादः आसाराम की बेटी भारती ने पुलिस के सामने यह कबूल कर लिया है कि वह अपने पिता की कुटिया में लड़कियों को भेजा करती थी. मंगलवार रात पुलिस द्वारा पुछताछ के दौरान भारती ने बताया कि बालात्‍कार का आरोप लगाने वाली लड़कियों को वह जानती हैं.

भारती ने कहा कि हां पहली बार इन लड़कियों को आसाराम बापू के एकांतवास कुटिया में उसने ही भिजवाया था. गौरतलब है कि पूछताछ के लिए पुलिस ने आसाराम कि बेटी व पत्नि को भी रिमांड में लिया है.
